MARCELO SALAZAR

Marcelo is an award-winning TV and film producer with over 20 years of experience in the entertainment industry. Known for his versatility and creative vision, Marcelo has created and produced a wide variety of television shows for broadcasting channels in the USA, Ecuador, and Europe, as well as for VOD platforms. His career began in advertising, where he produced award-winning commercials, showcasing his talent for crafting compelling visual stories. Over the years, Marcelo has become a seasoned expert in television and digital media, excelling in creating, producing, and supervising a diverse range of network and independent productions. His work reflects a deep passion for storytelling and a commitment to delivering high-quality content that resonates with audiences worldwide.



Currently, Marcelo serves as the Senior Vice President (SVP) of Development for both scripted and unscripted TV shows and feature films, overseeing projects from development through post-production. His recent achievements include executive producing the award-winning short film The Harvest (Best Horror Film) and securing the rights to produce and distribute the popular Latin American game show El Ultimo Pasajero (The Last Passenger), which he is now bringing to the U.S. market. Additionally, he produced the travel series TRIP Ecuador, which aired on platforms like TUBI, Roku, and XUMO in the Americas and on the Xtreme Channel in Europe.
